I’m here to take a stand for people to help them create significant success and transform their lives by their own design. In May of 2007, I already considered myself to be a student of personal development. I read many books and attended many seminars, but when I learned about the spiritual laws of prosperity, transformation, world creation, and abundance, something finally clicked and everything changed. I learned how to harness the power of my own thoughts and my own imagination in a very practical way. In just 18 months of working in sales, I multiplied my income by just over 27 times. I’ll show you how I did it.
Generate Leads
I will run you through the revenue-producing activity within the business of personal development. The first thing I did was to generate leads, which is often one of the most effective methods to use. I placed ads on online classified sites, and used targeted market marketing either locally, nationally or internationally.
Tip: Facebook is a popular site to use, and it gets a lot of traffic.
Return Calls
Now that I generated leads, the next step was to follow up with potential prospects. Conveniently, I used a lead manager to store that information, so it was relatively easy to keep everything organized. When I called my prospects, I used a script so I know exactly what questions I wanted to ask so I was able to help them most effectively.
Tip: Are you unsure of where to start your script? Try something like…
Hello [name of prospect]? My name is [your name] and I’m following up about [your business]. I have a few questions to ask you at the early stages of our conversation here. If you could take complete creative control of your life, what would be the very first thing that you would change?
Close the Sale
After an initial conversation, I would refer the prospect to a website with more information. Not every lead turned into a sale, but for those that did, it was the website that really encouraged them to purchase the product.
Tip: If your prospect displays a strong desire to change their life and you believe you can help them achieve their goals, then refer them to a profession website complete with presentations, success stories, information about you, and more.
The next step is yours. Discover for yourself what your new life might look like.
